reverie we were sold
that ticket to happiness
Only for it to pull you down harder
You lose yourself
forgetting the things that once made you bubble with joy
the things that filled your soul
becoming a husk
a shell of a human
a sentient robot gliding through life
searching for the next hit of dopamine
realizing too late who you are, what you like
too long gone to enjoy your own company

put in the effort
get to know yourself deeply
Try different hobbies, pursue wild passions
create a world for yourself that makes
