I noticed my plants that had been looking quite frail and lackluster as of late have slowly been making their comeback. And really, the same seemed to be true for me- debilitated and pale from the overcast and gloom, I also seemed to be slowly rising from the dark hole that winter pushed me into.
New leaves sprouting- tiny, fragile green buds unfurling to reveal brilliant new growth. Filling in holes left by the withering winter.
My Peace Lily has even started to bloom. A small, white flower currently cocooned tightly amongst the protective leaves to blossom into a magnificent sight under the watchful eye of the sun through glass windows.
Sun and warmth igniting a fire burning away the winter cold freeing the dormancy feeding light fighting alongside pushing growth persuading us from our slumbers Flowers bloom - the smell of invigoration permeates the air and we, just like the animals, just like the plants We rise Again Basking underneath the vigilant eye of the reignited sun allowing it to charge us for another cycle another year… After months of frigid, stuffy air snow killing everything including motivation, the tides turn again and we bloom.
