Give yourself Grace

Some days keeping yourself together is hard. 
There are days when getting out of bed 
in itself
is a chore
But, somehow you do
Both feet on the floor,
dragging but moving
doing the things
even as your brain fights you
begging you to stop, to lay back down
every step of the way

It is these days when giving yourself grace
is an absolute necessity 
Credit yourself for the little accomplishments
Banish the guilt for the missed "to do's"
Get yourself a little treat
Take care of yourself
And remember, the light 
will shine again soon.
