When my pen hits the page
its as if Iām carried away
like a fallen leaf in a stream
floating along the soft current
water pushing forward
around bends and turns
over fleeting rapids
Manuscript morphing, creating
casting out my
Worries
Sadness
Anger
like a violent mudslide
ground concaving
rocks cascading
warping the mountain side
Each page a new world
allowing me the freedom
to teleport between realities
to wear the shoes of different souls
to be whoever I want to be
whenever I desire
a quiet escape
a literary haven
all built, by me
beautifully captured and expressed, K.J …š¤
